The 2025 edition of the International League T20 (ILT20) has delivered an exhilarating season filled with record-breaking performances, high-scoring encounters, and standout individual displays. With the league stage completed, the tournament now moves into the knockout phase, where the top four teams—Desert Vipers, Dubai Capitals, MI Emirates, and Sharjah Warriorz—will battle for the coveted title.

After 30 intense games, Desert Vipers and Dubai Capitals secured the top two spots and will face each other in Qualifier 1, with the winner earning a direct ticket to the final. Meanwhile, MI Emirates and Sharjah Warriorz will compete in the Eliminator, where the losing team will be eliminated, and the winner will move forward to Qualifier 2 for another shot at reaching the final.

High-Scoring Feats & Most Runs

The 2025 season has seen an influx of high-scoring games, with MI Emirates setting a new ILT20 record for the highest total, posting 228/2 against Desert Vipers in Abu Dhabi. Dubai Capitals also showcased their batting might, scoring 217/4 against Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, while MI Emirates had previously recorded 208/3 against Dubai Capitals in 2024.

This season alone has witnessed six 200+ totals, in stark contrast to the solitary 200+ total recorded in 2024, further proving the dominance of batters in 2025. Leading the charge is Shai Hope, who tops the run-scoring charts with 467 runs at an impressive average of 66.71, followed closely by Tom Banton with 464 runs at an average of 58, while Tom Kohler-Cadmore holds third place with 347 runs.

Top Wicket-Takers & Bowling Dominance

On the bowling front, Fazalhaq Farooqi has been the standout performer, breaking his own record for the most wickets in a season by claiming 20 wickets in 2025, surpassing his previous tally of 17 wickets in 2024. Jason Holder has also been among the top bowlers this season with 17 wickets, matching the feat achieved by Waqar Salamkheil in 2024.

Centuries Galore in 2025

Another significant milestone this season has been the rise in centuries, with three hundreds scored—all in 2025. Tom Banton leads the century tally with two centuries, while Shai Hope has contributed one. No hundreds were recorded in the 2023 and 2024 editions of ILT20, making 2025 the most productive season for batters in the tournament’s history.
